What could MechIQ be worth to your garage?
Drop in a few numbers about your workshop and see an illustrative estimate of the front-of-house and technician hours MechIQ's AI could save you each month — plus the extra advisory work a digital VHC gets approved over a paper one.
Illustrative estimate — not a guarantee. Tune the assumptions below.
These are illustrative estimates. We're validating the real time-per-task with a live pilot workshop — and once you're on MechIQ we measure your actual numbers, not these assumptions.
Your workshop
Rough figures are fine — adjust to match your garage.
We only count what a digital VHC adds over a paper one — see below.
Applied to technician hours only — a freed tech hour can be sold to the next car. Not a headline figure.

Capacity for more cars — without adding staff.

Quoting & admin — relief at the desk
Tech hours saved

Diagnosis & research — sellable capacity
≈ €0 / mo if the technician hours are sold as billable work.
Extra advisory work approved per month

Around €0 a year.
Advisory work approved over and above what a paper VHC would already get you. Finding the work is the health check's doing, not ours — so we count only what going digital adds. Kept separate from the time saved above, because it's a different kind of benefit.
These are two distinct benefits and we show them separately on purpose — hours of capacity given back, and the extra advisory revenue a digital VHC adds over a paper one. We don't blend them into one headline figure. Actual results depend on your job mix and how your team works today; the numbers below show exactly how we calculate them so you can sanity-check.

Not sure where to start? Find your tier below for a quick, illustrative view — no inputs needed. These use the same conservative assumptions as the calculator above.

Two separate benefits per tier: hours of capacity given back, and the extra advisory revenue a digital VHC gets approved over a paper one — we don't blend them into one figure. The "Mid" tier mirrors a typical ServiceStop-sized workshop.

How we work it out
Everything here is deliberately conservative and fully visible. We keep the two benefits separate — hours of capacity given back, and extra advisory work approved — and never blend them into a single inflated figure.
⏱️ FOH hours saved
We assume about one AI-built quote per job, each saving roughly 25 minutes of front-of-house work (parts lookup, labour times, typing the estimate) versus building it by hand.
🔧 Tech hours saved
We assume about one diagnosis every two jobs (0.5 per job), each saving roughly 50 minutes of technician fault-code research and triage.
💶 Extra advisory work approved least certain
A paper checklist finds the same worn discs. So we don't count the advisory work a VHC surfaces — we count only what a digital VHC adds over a paper one: it still gets done when the shop is busy, the customer sees photos instead of hearing it down the phone, and declined items come back at the next service instead of dying in a folder. We assume a VHC surfaces advisory work on ~35% of jobs; that a paper process runs on ~45% of jobs and converts ~35%, against ~80% and ~50% through MechIQ. Tell the calculator you already run digital VHC and this figure drops to almost nothing — which is the honest answer. These are the least-certain assumptions on this page; we measure them live with the pilot workshop.
➗ Two benefits, kept separate
We show hours of capacity given back and extra advisory work approved (€) as two distinct numbers — we never multiply hours by a rate and add it to revenue to inflate a single headline. The optional labour rate only drives a small "if redeployed" estimate.

Assumptions are intentionally cautious. They are estimates based on typical independent-garage workflows, not measured guarantees for any specific business.
